Before You Begin

A few important things to check before you start

These notes cover the most common candidate questions without repeating the full walkthroughs above.

Before You Start

A quick checklist for your device, permissions, and interview or test-day environment.

Use a stable internet connection and uninterrupted power supply.
Disable desktop notifications, pop-ups, and other interruptions.
Camera, microphone, and screen sharing may be required throughout the test.
You must take the assessment in full-screen mode.
Plagiarism, AI-generated content, or unfair practices can lead to disqualification.

How the Assessment Interface Works

A quick overview of the controls and areas you will use during the live assessment.

Use Previous and Next to move between questions.
The timer at the top right shows your remaining time.
Your live camera feed appears at the bottom right for proctoring.
Question groups on the right help you track progress across the assessment.
Submit Test appears when you are ready to finish or when the final stage is complete.

Coding Assessment on RedyHire

RedyHire supports two coding modes, and each one evaluates your answers a little differently.

Some coding questions are paper-style: logic and code quality matter more than running the code.
Some coding questions support compile and run, but attempts are limited.
Choose your programming language from the editor controls when that option is available.
Even when run support exists, logic, efficiency, and edge-case handling still matter.

Other Question Types

You may also see non-coding questions during the same assessment.

MCQs: choose the correct option and move to the next question.
Reading questions: record yourself reading the displayed text aloud.
Listening questions: play the audio, then type your response in the answer area.
The test may include multiple sections inside one combined assessment.
